Western Mennonite and Kennedy played a tough game for #1 and #2 seed. WM was up by 10 at the half, 30-20. In the 2nd half Western held on for a while, but Kennedy fought back and got within one point 42-41 in the 4th. But freshman Pierre Zook hit two key 3 pointers that completely turned the momentum back in WM's favor, going up 50 -41. WM was able to then hold on to win it 59-45. Congrats to both teams for an exciting game. To Kennedy for winning the league title. And of course to WM for capturing the #1 seed tonight. Best wishes to both teams next week as you represent the Tri-river in the first round of the state playoffs. Both teams will host.
